What a free account opens
A free account opens a sample of each PSLE Tamil course, and the samples are the real material rather than a trimmed demonstration of it. The point is to let a parent judge three things before any money changes hands: how the lessons are built, how hard the questions actually are, and whether the level suits the child in front of them. A syllabus label says none of that.
It also opens the free tier of the practice tools, including the listening Sample, which can be attempted as often as a pupil likes. Nothing here expires and nothing needs a card.
What the paid packages add
The packages add the remainder of the taught material and, with it, the volume that practice depends on: every composition, every oral topic and reading passage, every listening test, and the timed mock exams that run each format under examination conditions rather than as an exercise.
That difference is mostly one of repetition. A sample shows a pupil what a good answer looks like; a package is what lets them produce one without thinking about it, which is the only version that survives an examination hall.
Where to start
Work through a sample in the subject your child finds hardest rather than the one they enjoy, and watch where they slow down. If they stall at the first blank page, composition is the place to spend the money. If they answer confidently but quietly run out of words, it is oral. If they are fine on paper and lost when someone speaks, it is listening. The samples are short enough to try all three in an evening.
