Free Tamil Games
Vocabulary and grammar are the parts of Tamil that reward small, frequent practice and punish cramming. These free Tamil games are built for that: eight short games a child can play for five minutes without it feeling like homework, covering the spelling, word-choice and tense work that shows up across every PSLE and O-Level paper.

The games
Eight games in all, listed in the arcade above with the number of levels each holds. A few, to give the idea:
Match words to pictures
Pairs a Tamil word with the picture it names, which is how early vocabulary actually sticks.
Build the word from tiles
Breaks a word into its letters and asks for it back, drilling letter order and spelling at the same time.
Verbs in the right tense
Past, present and future — the single most common source of avoidable marks lost in composition.
Five others
Crosswords, missing letters, sentence completion, sound-alike pairs that mean different things, and a picture game for the youngest learners.
Who they are for
Primary and Secondary students, at any stage. Nothing here needs to be worked through in order, and progress is not scored or reported — the point is repetition that a child chooses to do. A game played willingly for five minutes beats a worksheet negotiated for twenty.
They are not a substitute for a course, and they are not pretending to be one. What they do is keep the mechanical layer warm between lessons — the letters, the endings, the words — so that lesson time is spent on the harder work rather than on revision a game can handle.
